TealCrest History |
| TealCrest
Boxers started in 1998 and is a small, in-home kennel. The name
TealCrest
is named after my grandmother's maiden name, Teal. Dogs have always been a part of my life. I grew up with Boston Terriers mostly. Then in 1990, I moved into a house and found that my neighbors had moved and abandoned a boxer. Well I couldn't stand it. He was skinny and had a bad case of demodectic mange. After several trips to the vet and some "good eating" Butch became a part of my life. He was the epitome of a Boxer, even if he never saw a show ring. His temperament was wonderful and truly endeared me to the breed. |

| When
I lost Butch to kidney failure after 13 wonderful years, I decided to
seek
out another boxer, one that I could beginning showing and
eventually
start a breeding program with. I started off with a fawn male puppy from Paul and Margaret Hardy of MarPal boxers. "Jake" wasn't destined for the show ring in conformation so I started looking for a foundation bitch. Thru the help of Jack and Bridget Brown, I found Angel. My goal is to breed Boxers that exemplify the standard, both in type, health, soundness and temperament. I am a member of the American Boxer Club, Georgia Boxer Club and am currently Vice President and training director for the Clarksville Kennel Club. I abide by the American Boxer Club Code of Ethics. |
